Vision 2010

Communication is all about the people and so is our organization. The American Communication Association (ACA) is a venue for communicators and communicologists to connect. We are a place for professionals, academics, and students.

Through the use of our listserv and website, we attempt to share topics of interest and provide a space for some very tangible dialog.

This year will be a rebuilding year as many of our board has moved on and others have stepped forward to fill some big shoes. We are attempting to make a very direct effort to define roles, rebuild our infrastructure with our journal, accreditation, yearly conferences, and better communication.

Strategic goal #1: Make ACA an organizationally viable, professional communication association.

Strategic goal #2: Build a network of communication resources accessible throughout the world.
